Living Skills

About our Living Skills services

You define quality of life differently than the next person. But most of us want to have some degree of control over our home and personal life. Living Skills, or adaptive rehabilitation, will help you do just that. Our experts start with basic things like personal grooming, cooking and eating skills. Then you will learn ways to organize your home to make things faster to find and easier to use. Finally, we will focus on a range of communications tools and skills. These include: Braille, specialized audio products, typing and keyboarding skills, hand writing/writing devices, American Sign Language (ASL), and assistive technology. Let our adaptive rehabilitation experts help you gain more control and greater independence as you learn to live with vision loss.
